i went off bc last month and i still ahve not got my peeriod? i know that when you go off bc that your period is delayed but how long usualy?? how long should i wait until i should be worrid.. ???? i am right now 5 days late/?? is thatnormal...

ANDI-I would take a test!

It's normal for your period to be late after going off bc until your cycle gets regular again. I went off bc in May and my period was a week late. You might want to take a pg test just to be sure.

When I went off mine, I was about a week later than usual. My doctor's nurse said it's perfectly normal for it to be late....she said to call if the cycle was more than 45 days.

Take a test to be sure, if you'd like. But also know that it takes our bodies a while to get the chemicals/extra hormones out of our systems once going off BCP.
