Well, as I'm waiting for my spaghetti noodles to be done, I was wondering who cooks at your house? What's your favorite thing to make? To eat?

I do all of our cooking, unless it's on the grill outside. Then I'm somehow able to convince DH to cook, but it doesn't happen often! I enjoy trying new recipes. I'm very brave when it comes to that, and I never make anything the same way twice. I love to bake, cookies are probably my favorite. My favorite thing to eat would have to be...cookies! My favorite dinner that I make is my chicken stir fry.

Same for me...I do all the cooking unless it's meat on the grill outside. DH will cook Tuna Helper though...haha! I'm not much of a cook, and if I don't have directions, I can't do much. I think my favorite thing to cook is hamburger steak. It's soo good. My fave thing to eat is probably spaghetti. I love it!

I don't think my DH could handle Tuna Helper!! He had 5 meals he made before we were married or he ate out. Most of the time, he ate out! Now, we eat out maybe once a month, if that.

I just made Choc. Chip cookies to take to a party - they are killing me!! I've eaten 3 already and they're calling my name. I have no self-control when it comes to that stuff. I can't wait to get to that party so other people will eat them and alleviate the temptation!

Haha...I feel ya! I love choc chip cookies, well pretty much anything chocolate or sweet! My dh is a pro at anything that's hamburger helper or tuna helper. Seriously, nothing else other than grilling. Oh, and he can microwave grits!! Haha Gotta love him!

I do ALL the cooking. We have been married 8 years and lived together 4 before that and I can count on my hands how many times he has cooked. I love to cook so I don't mind.

Ditto. I do ALL the cooking. DH bought a huge BBQ book and I thought, Oh Boy he's actually going to do some grilling. He never even opened it!! He does grill the meats in the summertime, but that's it. I don't mind though b/c I do love to cook. And b/c I do all the cooking I managed to convince him to buy me new pots & pans. Now it's even more enjoyable to cook!! I watch the Food Network all the time and try new recipes every week. I'm very adventurous in what I cook - and DH will try anything.

Yeah, my DH is great about eating anything I make. He's never once complained. He better not, cuz he'll end up cooking for himself.

Speaking of cooking, I have to go to the grocery store, and I have absolutely no desire to go! I can't convince DH to go with me, and it's so boring going by myself. How pathetic am I?!?

Not pathetic at all! I won't go w/o DH. I think I've gone 2x by myself. I end up coming home w/a bunch of nothing if I go by myself! hahah, Idk why.

I am majorly procrastinating this shopping trip!!!!! I keep finding new posts to respond to so I don't have to go yet! I think DH is getting frustrated though - I think he's hungry and I haven't made anything for him yet today. He'll live with cereal, I suppose!!

I do most of the cooking around here. I make DH cook once a week so I can have a night off but I have to plan what he is going to cook and buy all the ingredients...and he can't make anything that has more than 5 ingredients! Oh well, I just like having the night off! I love trying new recipes but I can't make anything up on my own. I definitely need to use recipes, but I've learned to be able to read them pretty well and can guess if they are something we would like or not. That took me a while to learn to do that. I feel so bad when I think how DH had to put up with my weird experiments the first couple of years that we were dating/married. And I'm sure if (I mean when) I ever have kids, I'll have to learn all over again to cook what they like because right now we eat a lot of spicy food that kids probably wouldn't like.
