Icon5 Question about Cramps

I was wondering if anyone has cramps when they o. I have had three normal cycles since going off the bcp and have not had any cramps. This cy my dh and I are ttc and I have had cramps that come and go on my right side. I think I o'd on Monday and the cramps have been around since then. They seem to be getting less severe, but still bothersome.

If with any luck we get a bfp in a few weeks - do you think there will be any problems due to the cramping during o?

Thanks!

I found out what the cramps were - a ruptured ovarian cyst

I am sorry to hear that. I was going to say that I think I O'd on Monday or Tuesday, because I had a lot of "cramps" on my left side. But not to where I was in pain. I too went off BCP in the middle of April. So, this is the 4th month off the pill. Good luck! Tiffany

Some women cramp when they ovulate, some don't. It shouldn't be anything too painful, kind of like a dull menstrual cramp. Some women don't even notice it. An ovarian cyst rupturing is drop you to your knees painful. I am sorry you had one, I had several as a teenager and feel your pain. Get some rest and you should be feeling back to normal within a couple of days!

The doctor I spoke to at the er said it was still possible that I conceived on this cycle.

Does anyone know if that could cause any problems in the future - like m/c ?

This is the first cy we have tcc and I am a nervous wreck now because of the problems so far.

Thanks
