Icon5 Ovulation Test Question...

Hello ladies! Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving!
Just a question or two about ovulation tests. I usually O around day 18-20 per my bbt charting, so I started the testing on day 14. Here I am on day 16, and I got two strong lines! So, looking forward to Oing in 24-36 hours or so. DH and I have been BDing every other day starting on day 11- so 11,13,15. My question is: We have been ttc x 6 months- should we BD daily or continue to every other day? I'm also taking Tussin (Guaifenesin) 2 tsp three times daily. I'm 24 and DH is 25; no sperm testing yet...just keep feeling this is my month! DH had a dream we got our BFP, too! Anyways, PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!! You girls are the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default Re: Ovulation Test Question...

In studies done....results have shown no increase in success rates when a couple BD's every other day vs every day. The increase appears when couples wait TWO full days...and that is the most true when there is a sperm quality issues. BD every day or every other...it appears it really doesn't change success rates very much.

Hope it's your month!

Do what feels right for you, I feel better BDing every day, but if you feel confident in everyother day, that might work too. I think dreams are neat and I hope your DHs comes true and that this is your month!

Thank you, girls. You are very sweet. I'm confused, however. I got a + ovulation test on day 16, and here it is day 19 and my temp hasn't risen yet...hmmm. Maybe it will tomorrow morning. DH and I have BD'd on days: 11,13,15,17,18, and probably will tonight. So, I should keep this up through the rise in temp, right? I think so! Keep praying this is the month- to us all!
