Hello everyone, I was posting in Due in August, but I had a miscarriage this past week. DH and I are going to try again ASAP. I am hoping it will happen quickly. Last time it took 5 months, which, in the long run, isn't very long. I am just so ready to be pg again!! I loved that feeling! Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting to know you!

Yeah, it took me a couple months to get back on schedule after going off of BCP. I went off in June and found out I was pg in December. Hopefully you'll get back on track quickly! *~~~sending baby dust your way~~~ * Where abouts are you from? I'm in PA.
I wasn't anticipating any problems b/c every one of my friends got pg immediately after going off BCP - so I just assumed I would too. Hopefully if it didn't work last month AF will come soon so we can try again soon. I'm in NY.

Yep, all my friends also got pg right after going off of bcp. I couldn't believe it when I didn't! Although, as of August, my older sister and her son had moved in with DH and me. We supported them completely (long story). They were here until November ( I got pg the weekend they moved out LOL). That was a stressful time, so I'm guessing that's a major reason why it took so long. It is horrible waiting for AF, isn't it?
Sounds like the stress def. played a role! Ugh, I thought the 2ww was horrible last month. Getting BFN's and still no AF - this is worse!! I just want one to show so I know everything is okay.

I agree, waiting is horrible!!! Have you tried different brands of tests? Are you late yet? I was 5 days late by the time I took a test last time. I had gotten tired of seeing BFNs, so I waited until I was pretty sure. But going off of BCPs made me have a crazy cycle. I was always later than I thought I should be. If you do get AF, we'll be close to the same cycle, unless this miscarriage causes strange things to happen, which is possible.
Yeah, I'm 1 week late and no sign of her. I took another test this a.m. and BFN. It's frustrating. I've never - ever - been late so I'm just concerned being on BCP for 12 years has messed up my cycle. Only time will tell and the waiting is torture!!

Still no sign of her. I had more watery CM yesterday so I thought maybe I was getting ready to ovulate - but today it's sticky. So I have no clue what's going on. I started temping last week when she didn't come and my temps are hovering around 98+ but I have no idea if that means anything b/c I've never temped before.
How are things going with you??? Are you have a good cycle to try this month?

No, I'm going to wait til next month. If it happens this month, fine, but we aren't going to try. My dr. said to wait 2 or 3 months. I'm going to wait one cycle and then start trying. It is killing me! Especially since there are people who don't know yet that I had a miscarriage. It sucks telling people and then seeing them feel bad about asking. I'm hoping my cycle comes back normally. I think I'm going to take FertilAid this month to try and get my cycle on track right away. I know I can get pg, but I want to be right away! After having that 13 week experience, it was like a tease. I had all these plans, and I want to be able to go through with them. I am so impatient!!!!
I've had what I thought was fertile CM so I took an OPK today and it was faintly positive. But then I read the box and it was even more confusing. It said if there were 2 like lines it was positive - but that the test line could be lighter than the control. So I thought great, I'm ovulating finally!! Then I read more and it said, if there are 2 lines and the test line is lighter than the control line no LH surge. WTF - isn't that saying the same thing!! I got the First Reponse ones - do you have any experience with those??
I can't imagine what you are going through :o( I feel for you! I'm sure you are really, really ready to be pg again - I would be too. Hopefully your body is just as ready and you get your BFP next cycle!!

So sorry to hear about your m/c. TTC is enough of an emotional rollercoaster to begin with, I can't imagine the disappointment you are going through. Hopefully you will get your BFP soon!
I am also new and ttc #1. I am so sorry for your loss Mrs Weird and khickey, but you have a great attitude, good for you!!
We have been trying ttc for almost 2 years!! We went to a fertility clinic to be diagnosed and everything came back normal. So we are giving it until May and if we are not pregnant by then I am going to be going on Clomid for a few months and then to IUI.
Wish us luck, I am praying for a BFP this week. I am 11dpo and tested today and it was a BFN, so I am hoping i still have a chance.
