Hey everyone!

I am new here, and thought I would introduce myself. I am 26, DH is 27, we've been married for 5 years and we are finally ready to start trying for our first child. We've been discussing it for months, but because I started a new job in April, I didn't want to get pregnant right away.

I suffer from Endometriosis and will be coming of the pill for the first time since I was 17. Actually, I've been on continuous birth control treatment for almost 2 years...so no periods, and no pain. Frankly, I'm pretty scared to come off the pill, but if the end result is a baby, I can find a way to live through it.

My last pill will be Monday, and I'm waiting for my DH to get back from deployment (he's a Coastie), so hopefully we'll be doing some baby dancing this week!

I'm happy to meet all of you, and I'm glad to have found this board!

to you both. This is a great board and everyone here is tremendously supportive. It has been such a relief for me to have someone to vent to and ask questions of. I think DH appreciates that he doesn't have to hear every single one of my little questions and concerns! And these girls are great. Hope it is useful and fun for you, too. I'm not that familiar with endometriosis but I know it causes painful periods. I just want you to know that we will be here for you, cheering you on!

i ahvent been around for a while but i wanted to say hi and welcome you.. and i was wondering where your husband is stationed at..??? my husband is also a Coastie so i now how that is ........ we are stationed up in kodiak Ak... good luck with the baby dancing!!!!
