keepin the love alive?

we just started ttc this month. since we need to plan so much and be certain to bd on specific days, i'm worried sex will soon become very mechanical and planned. "hey, honey, it's time to make a baby!" any advice on how to keep the spontaneity and fire going even when planning ahead?

HHMMM I don't know. My dh is a big fan of lingerie. We joke about special panties I bought for the occassion our "baby making" panties.

Plus you have to make sure to do the deed on other days so sex doesn't become just for procreation. I don't know, we also like candles and music. Plus there's nothing better than morning quickies before work!

Those sound like good ideas. I don't really have any to add. My dh and I just like trying to make babies. We've been trying for so long we don't even hide it anymore. I just say it's time and we do it. Pretty simple! We do it other times too, so dh doesn't just think I want him for his little swimmers. I just wanted to say that it's not so bad if it is planned. You're still showing your dh that you love him in the most intimate way and you're doing a beautiful thing by trying to make a baby.

Thanks for the advice, ladies. Things are fine in that department for now. Wanting to make a baby has us both pretty excited.

I guess I'm just worried about things getting stale after a while. Thanks for your posts.

I just wanted to add, be spontaneous.
Don't just have baby makin sex, have fun crazy sex too!
Meet him at the door with sexy lingerie on, call him at work, tell him how much you miss him and can't wait for him to come home. Make it fun, and it will last.

If I am not itching to get it when I get home, my dh is asking when we are going to do it, LOL, he is VERY supportive. I am a huge fan of calling him and talking sexy to him and leaving little "revealing" notes where I know he will find it. You will figure what works for you, and it is a fun adventure. Good Luck!
