Icon5 An impatient newbie :-)

Hi there - I really wanted to join a forum like this as myself and my partner are currently ttc. I wondered if someone would have the answer to a few questions for me...

(1) I have been charting my ovulation using predictor tests and ovulated 16 days into my cycle...would this mean I would be due 14 days after this and therefore have a 30 day cyle this month? We did everything right at the time and I am praying that I am pregnant but no luck with positive tests yet...if I am due 14 days after ovulating, that means Friday 27th for me and therefore testing today would be too early, yes?? You can kind of tell I'm new at this eh?!!

(2) Is it possible to have PMT symptoms and still have a positive result or does my stroppiness and crampy tummy probably mean my period will arrive soon?

I'm sure there were more...! but they seem to have vanished from my brain!

Hope to hear from you soon - and goodluck to all the others out there wanting a bundle of joy in their lives.

Sinead XXX.

Well, it's been a while since I posted. I'm a bit gutted to find that despite having 47 views, not one person has replied to help me feel a little less overwhelmed and confused :-( I don't know what's going on with my body but I have still not come on but all tests have been negative and I'm starting to think that the OPKs were faulty, or that I had the surge but didn't release an egg. The whole thing is confusing. I am going through a bit of a tough time in other areas at the moment - maybe stress is not helping. So we've decided to just relax and see what happens...I think I'll lay off the OPKs and excessive pg tests and if it's meant to be it will happen in it's own time.

Hope you are all having lots of baby luck out there.

Sinead.

I know, I feel like I should own stock in pregnancy tests by now! I read over pregnancy symptoms and convince myself I have them, but it usually turns out being AF! How long have you been TTC? I can't offer much advice because I was on depo provera for a while, and that threw my body completely out of wack. Check around the other boards; there's usually some good info out there.

Welcome to the boards by the way!
