ok im looking for a lubercant that wont harm me or the sperm. I was told to Get coconut oil from the grocery section at walmart. is this safe to use or where could i find some info about this sorta thing. thanks a bunch

The best lubricant to use while ttc is Preseed, as it is not hostile to sperm. Taking Charge of Your Fertility suggests that egg whites warmed to room temperature can also be used, as long as you or dh are not allergic to eggs.

Pre-seed is the only lubricant with studies done to prove that it will not harm sperm. With the other lubricants..the ph levels are too high to be safe for sperm.

thanks for the info ladies i knew about pre-seed but its prity expensive for the number of times me and DH babie dance lol. I heard from another friend that coconut oil was a great lubercant and that it had less of a chance of mesing up your natural ph than ky and astroglide. i was just courious if anyone else had tried it or heard about it. thanks a bunch

I don't know of any studies done on coconut oil that would show if it is harmful to sperm or not. If it were me....I would stay away from using it...
