I've been posting on the Preparing Board for quite a while now, but we are officially TTC this month! So I thought I'd jump over and say hi!

My DH and I have been married for over 2 years. I'm a teacher and being around kids all day is not quite the birth control it's supposed to be! I've been off the pill since April and charting my cycles so I know my body pretty well now. We're hoping for a Sept baby, but if it doesn't work on the first try, we'll take what we can get!

Hi Randi,
I got married April 19th 2004, and never used birth control. It took us 4 months to get pregnant, not worrying and just having fun. My second pregnancy took over a year charting and one round of clomid. I lost both pregnancies. I started charting my temps 5 months after my D&C and my cycles instantly got irregular. the first cycle charting, AF was 2 weeks late.. a 42 day cycle.. then it went to a 60 some odd day cycle, then to a 72 day cycle and finally a 100 (s) days cycle. I was given provera to induce an af and got pregnant with my clomid angel. I stand firm now on my belief that charting WILL stres you out and make it even harder to conceive. I dont see how it helped me any, it only made everything harder and worse. I hope this helps you. And also.. many women agree that right when they stopped charting they got pregnant, with a sucessful pregnancy.
