How many kids do you want?

Ideally, I would want 4.
Realistically, I want 2....
I've finally convinced my husband to have ONE, but I'm hoping he'll like it and be eager for two! Although I'm not sure how many times I want to go through this TTC thing. The second one will need to happen by accident...
We're going for 2 and if we can handle 3 financially we'll have another one.
But get this. Twins run in my family. My mother has 2 sisters. Both sisters are grandmothers already - my mom is still patiently waiting. Both of my Aunts have 2 kids (1 boy/1 girl each).
Aunt#1 - Her daughter had twin girls and 1 single boy AND her son had twin girls
Aunt #2 - Her daughter has had 3 singles and her son has had 1 single.
So it's totally up in the air what my mother's kids will have!!! Cool, huh!

Wow! that is cool! We were thinking twins might be an option - my grandmother had two sets of twin brothers. But no others in the family, so we figured it would be our turn! That would be exciting.
We are hoping for 2. I was in a family of three so was DH and we were both middle children...didn't like it. So I figure two. If I have twins that would be great, it runs on both sides of my family! Yikes!!! But for now...hoping for #1

Twins run in my family somewhat. If they skip a generation, it would be my turn, esp taking fertility drugs. I think my dh would die if we had twins though! I would love it, but he would probably faint!
