Hi! New to Board

Hi everyone! I am new to the board. My husband and I just started trying to conceive this month. Everything seems so overwhelming! I thought things would be more simple but the more I read the more stressed I get!

What methods have people tried to predict their ovulation date? I am just basing things on my 28 day cycle - assuming ovulation on day 14. My friend recommended a ovulation tester (saliva based) and I bought one today.
I am really excited to get this whole process underway.

Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

Welcome!!! I have had great luck with OPK'S. In addition I also check my CP and CM.

Hi, I'm new, too and just started TTC at the end of July. Hope you like the boards and you get that soon!

Welcome! I am relatively new here also. My DH and I are waiting for AF, then we will be officialy ttc. My cycles are 31 days on average, but I am on day 51. We are assuming it is BC pills still in my system. Anyhow, WELCOME! The girls here are so supportive and helpful. Good luck!

Hi- I'm new too. I've got the bug for info as well, and it really stresses me out! As for predicting O, I've been charting BBT and CM the last 2 months and I used my first OPK the month. My cycles are irregularly regular (21-26 days one month and 28-31 the next, but regularly). The OPK really helped me feel in control, but the BBT thing freaks me out!

I am going to get into the temping in a couple of months. I have been watching my CM (cervial mucus). They say when you see that EW CM (egg white) then that's the day you count. Let us know what you try and if it works!!! Especially on the OPK! I may try that soon too.

to the boards - so glad to have you here with us! My dh & I have been TTC "officially" since May - but "unofficially since March - I track my time by my CM - I generally get ALOT of EWCM - but so far - not pg! We kind of took this month off due to a family reunion (still managed to sneak a little in there) - so we'll see what happens - I am FULLY expecting to just be moving on to the next cycle right now!

ANywho - just my little update - Hope you get your right away & can start a trend around here! I'll be thinking of you & looking forward to getting ot know you!
