Well yesterday we got our referral and appointment with an Infertility Specialist just 10 min from us!!! We are so excited... there is a consult fee of $90 bucks, but hey its worth it in my mind! Better than having to go to a specialist 2 1/2 hrs away!!!!

So thats our latest... Im still at CD48 - had a temp spike BUT I looked back over all my charts and every CD48 had a temp spike... damn body! I tell ya!!!

I am very excited about it... but it also hit me last night... that kinda brought me down that its an IF specialist BUT Im trying to think positive... that this is THE right step for us... I had a little cry and then once DH got home I felt better talking to him about it... so think positive for us!!!

Good Luck! I know it's scary and depressing and expensive but it will all be worth it! I had a hard time dealing with the fact that something was 'wrong' with me. But now we're doing all we can to fix it. Now you're on the road to get a baby!

Thanks, yes thats exactly what my DH told me... so ya I know this is the right step for us... and its very close so thats a bonus too. Only 10 min away.

That's wonderful Pam. I think it's great that you're going to a specialist now. You'll probably be ready in no time. I'm really think about asking my dr. to give me a referral to a specialest. I'll give him another 3 months with this Femera thing and then, I'm going to be ready to move on. I wanna find out why I'm not getting pregnant and what we can do about it.
I hope the new dr. has a great POA and that you'll get your BFP in no time!

Hi Ladies,

Thanks... well my first cycle off the BCP was 59 days, 2nd was 58 days, 3rd was Provera induced and was 96 days... this is my 4th cycle and is not any better - Im at CD52! Yikes huh!!! I sure hope this dr takes pitty on me and induces it for me... ugh... Then gives me better drugs to get going... this sucks!! AND its been almost 9 mths now!
