I'm on so close to just wanting to quit but my better sense always wins and so I continue on with VERY sore nips!

Cohen has 2 teeth on the bottom and 3 teeth on the top. The more those top teeth come in, the more it is hurting to nurse. I can't figure out the pain because he's bit me before and it doesn't feel like he's biting. It's a very sharp pain but he's still sucking when I feel it and when I break the latch, there are teeth marks from the top teeth. I've continually pulled him off, told him "no teeth" since it doesn't feel like a bite but the pain still continues. Is this a normal part of getting teeth? I don't know how much longer I can take it. I was seriously considering exclusively pumping to get us to the year mark but I don't want to break that bond and closeness.

Please, someone,anyone, help.....
