I had to have an endoscopy done this morning and I was given Versed and Fentanyl to "put me under". The doctor knew I was nursing and I stored up enough milk to hopefully last today. I think he may have gone easy on the amount given to me because I didn't ever fall asleep and I remember most of the procedure.

Anyway. My question is does anyone know how long I should pump and dump? I am waiting to hear back from my LC know that I know what I was given but she was pretty certain that I should be ok to nurse once I'm feeling like it is out of my system. I'm still a little dizzy and tired but I can't imagine feeling this way all day. The nurse at the office told me not to nurse for 12 hours so I have some conflicting information and I couldn't find much online so I thought I would check here
