Hayden is 8 weeks old (tomorrow)..
How much should she be nursing at this point?
How long should I let her go between feedings if I don't pick up on any signs of hunger?
And what can I look for as far as signs of hunger go? It seems like she has changed completely, I used to go by her rooting for her hands but she does that all the time now that she has really "found" them, and even if she is rooting around on me (or DF), she doesn't always eat very well... which leads me to more questions I didn't realize I had until right now.. lol TIA guys..
Sometimes when I think she is hungry I will latch her on and she will let go, keep her mouth open, and kinda throw her head around like she is playing with my nipple and doesn't want to latch on, occasionally (and by occasionally I mean once a day or so) she will even spend a while just licking and gumming at my nipple. Should I just assume this means she isn't hungry? Is it best to take her away and wait until she says she's hungry and try again? Or should I keep trying to get her to nurse?
Holy cow, I guess that wasn't as quick as I thought

TIA to anyone who even decides to read all that!! I think alot of it is just me looking for reassurance.. we all need it sometimes, right?
