Hello everyone!!! My baby is 5 weeks old and he seems like he is ALWAYS hungry!!!! I feel like he is not getting enough from me. He only nurses for like 5 minutes on each side and then spits out...tries to relach and then gets frustrated....like he is almost mad cause nothing is coming out. He wants to nurse about every hour and almost NEVER seems satisified. He is gaining weight and he has wet & poopy diapers but I am just so confused as to what is going on with him. Any one with any advice???????
I "second" the growthspurt. If he is gaining weight and having plenty of poopy and wet diapers, than he should be getting enough.
Those early growthspurts are so hard on mommy. Hang in there, it will get better.
Totally Normal! My son ate every hour on the hour those 1st weeks. I know it's hard right now but believe me it will space out eventually. Don't doubt yourself. This will help your supply in the long run. This is all normal and you're doing great!
I hear ya! My baby is just over 6 weeks old and she nurses constantly. It is getting a little bit better though. Hang in there.............all the pros tell me it won't last forever..........we'll see!
