I am nursing my son. He was born April 27th, 2008. I had a period at the beginning of Dec and one the beinning of January. I have not had one since then and I took a pregnancy test 2 days ago and also 8 days ago. Both negative.
(little background, if it matters, with my last baby I nursed him and started up my periods when he was 6 months old and had them consistently after. I started ttc and noticed my lutial phase was only 8-9 days I weaned him at 1 year 2 weeks old and I continued to have short lutial phase for several more months and I took some herbs and natural progesterone and was able to conceive this baby Harrison)
Ok, my question is... Do you think that my body just has not ovulated yet b/c of nursing? Is that why I have not had a period in over 6 weeks? Is it normal to start back with periods then stop? I have never had this happen before unless I was pregnant but I have taken tests and I feel normal. (I always feel awful when I get pregnant. lol)
