Default Oatmeal

Sorry this isn't really related to breastfeeding. But I feel like you ladies over here have some great advice when it comes to "feeding" in general

Dylan has been eating solids once per day for about a month now. We decided to skip cereal and go straight to fruits and veggies.

Even though he is only eating a tiny amount of solids (less than 1 oz per day), he has been pretty constipated. He's gone from pooping once a day to once every 3 or 4 days. I can tell that he's uncomfortable.

I was thinking about giving him oatmeal once in awhile in order to keep things moving. I went to the supermarket this evening and found "organic" baby oatmeal.... looked at the ingredients and there were over a dozen ingredients, few of which I could even pronounce! Does anyone know of a decent brand that isn't full of crap? He's never had anything except breastmilk and home made baby food so I have a lot of reservations about using something out of a box.
