Nursing bras
What is your favorite nursing bra? I just pulled out all of mine from when I nursed Jacob and they're too beat up to use this time. (I nursed for 10 months.) They are Playtex brand from Kohls. Looking for recommendations for other brands.
Thanks!

Re: Nursing bras
The most supportive ones I've got are a sport bra (that's what they call it, but it has 2 cups and doesn't resemble my other sports bras) from Wal-Mart. Since we are a small town here I've only gotten mine from Target or Wal-Mart. I just got 2 more from Target, they were on clearance, and they are more "fashionable", they are both lacy, but one is an underwire.

Re: Nursing bras
I got mine from Walmart as well....none of them have wires and I've found them perfectly functional and comfortable. I know lots of mom's who've paid a forturne for nursing bras but I didn't see the need........Good Luck!

Re: Nursing bras
i would be one of those that paid a fortune for them, but it wans't by choice. i wear a j cup and you cna't get those at walmart etc.
i ordered most of mine from www.ladygrace.com
the best kind of bra for the person is determined by the person. depends on her size etc. underwires are usually best avoided by nursing moms , so you may want to keep that in mind

Re: Nursing bras
I worry about not having underwire though. My boobs are so deflated after nursing my first that I need the support now. I don't want pancake boobs, ya know?

Re: Nursing bras
pancake boobs with no problems are lots better than perky looking boobs with plugged ducts/mastits or reduced supply
my best advice for those who really feel they must have an underwire is to make sure it fits absolutely perfectly, to reduce possible problems.

Re: Nursing bras
I'm another one who spent a fortune not by choice. Can't find 38H bras in Walmart either! I ordered mine from Bravado - http://www.bravado.com/ - they are $65 each for the "Supreme Nursing Bra" which I love. Nice support but no underwire.

Re: Nursing bras
lol, i was an h cup before i got pregnant. i was squeezing into DDD's at that time though, because i was not using the internet to shop, DDD is the biggest i could get in a brick and mortar store that i had found. (we were leary of the security of the internet, lol my how things have changed!)

Re: Nursing bras
I use the playtex one (no underwires) from Walmart or Zellers too. I like the Bravado ones, but don't have any with this baby. I would get one if I could find someone who sells them. I guess I could always buy one online, but don't need one that badly.

Re: Nursing bras
I've got most of mine from Wal-Mart too, but this time around I went to Motherhood Maternity and they've got some great ones. An especially nice one for wearing at night is the elastic pull-aside kind, it's really comfy. http://www.motherhood.com/Product.as...rCategory_Id=6 I also got a couple of nursing tanks, which are perfectly comfortable and functional for night and daytime. http://www.motherhoodnursing.com/Pro...tegory_Id=2005 I mostly wear it under an open button-down shirt. Good luck!
