Is there anything better then looking down and seeing a cute smile with a nipple hanging out of it!!!! Even dh thought it was sweet and was well jealous!

Oh yeah, my other favorite part is looking at chuby thighs and knowing you put them there!

I know the feeling! I love those smiles with a dribble of milk leaking out of the corner I love seeing my babies fall asleep on the boob and know that they feel as safe as they possibly could.

ditto to everything you said! I knew from the beginning that I wanted to breastfeed for my daughter's sake, but I had no idea that it would be such a wonderful experience for me. It has been so incrediblly rewarding to watch her grow and every time I put her to my breast, I get this overwhelming feeling of love.
that's why i perservered through problems this time. i'd nursed 3 kids before and KNEW what i'd be missing if i didn't nurse this one. reilly is at the stage where she looks at me intently when she nurses sometimes, and will stop and smile up at me. it's the sweetest thing i've ever experience in my life, nursing my 4 kids!

I love seeing her swollen belly after a good nursing session and knowing I just filled it up! I love the little dog like pant she does when I say "do you want some booby" and lift my shirt. I love the admiration I get from my dh and knowing he's proud of me for providing our daughter with the best stuff on earth. I love how she looks at me intently while nursing and will pet my face. I love that she loves me more than anything else.

What a wonderful thread. I love all those things....the smile with the milk dribbling out, ds and his pudge, falling asleep right there. I'm so glad that I kept at it with #1. Had I quit in those 1st 6 weeks when it was so hard I would have missed out on so much.
