Not for me this time, for my SIL who doesn't have internet so I am asking for her.

She just had a baby last tuesday so he is 3 days old now, she was asking me if it is normal for him to want to eat for 30+ minutes at a time. She switches sides and doesn't deny him food, but he shouldn't be that hungry should he? She says when he pulls away there is milk dripping from his mouth so she knows he is getting it. If she tries to soothe him with a bink (which he normally loves) he will throw a fit.

Is it normal for him to be that hungry?
