Icon5 more questions??????

Hi gals!

I posted a while back about my milk supply. I still only get about 2.25oz/pumping session when I pump for a yield, but my according to the LC, that's enough for my little 5lb-er. Anyway, I had some questions for you pro's.

1. Is it normal for the baby to root around even after nursing for 40 minutes and falling asleep at the breast? My baby seems to root around all the time, even after nursing - she is calm and not fussing, but is just working her mouth

2. How do you know when your baby is done nursing? I feel like she could & would stay on there forever.

3. Should she fall asleep after nursing? I thought that's how you could tell that the baby was full. I take my baby off the breast when it seems like she is sleeping and not sucking anymore (which is usually after 40-45 mins), but after burping her and changing her diaper, she is wide awake.

Okay - I hope that I haven't overburdened with questions. I am just so determined for :bf to work and I want to make sure I'm not making too many mistakes.
