Default Mamabear...? for you

I have a terrible cold for the 3rd time this year. I've also had a migraine and stomach virus. I've never been sick this often in my entire life. So I'm feeling really run down.

The lady at GNC suggested Silver Biotics for immune system support. The package just says consult a physician if nursing or pregnant, no known side effects. Just wondering if you have any experience or can consult LLL? Do you have any other suggestions for boosting my immune system. I just can't keep getting sick like this.

never heard of silver biotics, but i know (and use several of these) these are fine for nursing.

clo
gse (grapefruit seed extract)
sambucol. (it is elderberry based, and is a big immune system booster)

also any of the otc homeopathic remedies, such as "cold relief" "cold-ease" "zicam" etc are fine.

for the migraine, have you tried "head-on" ? my dh gets migraines, and if he can catch it at the very beginning of it before it goes full-blown, he cna use head-on and it stops it. if it goes fiull-blown all that helps him is an anti-emetic like phenergan or zofran plus narcotics (they usually give him a morphine/toradol combo in the er), plus rehydration.
