Default Looks like my milk is disappearing :(

I guess pregnancy really is affecting my supply. I realized yesterday that DD was eating food more and more often and doing more comfort nursing that eating nursing. I tried and couldn't express anything at all from my left nipple, and my right side only got a tiny bit of thick sticky milk that seemed more like colostrum than milk. She still comfort nurses like crazy, so I'm guessing I'll still be tandem nursing with this little one comes along around Thanksgiving, but I'm sorta sad she's not getting all that mama milk right now

(((kara)))

the tiny bit of milk/colostrum she is getting is still giving her immune system a boost.

you'll know when you start have a a good bit of colostrum too, you'll likely find that your dd's bowel movements will be looser etc, and she'll likely get a "sweet" smell again.

Thanks, Mama Bear. I just feel so sad about it. She's still nursing off both sides, so I guess she's still needing the comfort, which I am more than happy to give her. Especially since she's never used a paci or sucked her thumb/fingers.

It sure will be interesting to see those loose bm's again in the cloth diapers

Although it will be traumatic for her to have to share her boobies, LOL.
