Icon5 Latch-on pain

Hi Ladies,

My baby will be 2 weeks old tomorrow, and I have been having a lot of latch-on pain from the beginning. It is a deep sharp pain as he latches on, and it only lasts for a few seconds but it is really terrible.

I saw a few LC's during his first week who told me he has a good latch. I think we are OK with positioning too.... so I thought this pain when he latches would be temporary but it is not getting any better!! Will it be like this forever? Any advice would be greatly appreciated
