OK, so first I had eczema on my nips which "rarely" happens according to all the resources I have looked into. Took me 7 wks of excruciating pain to find that one out!
Now it appears that I have too much Lipase... The girls would drink my expressed milk when they were really little no matter how old. And I always smelled it and would take the drop I put on my wrist into my mouth to test... Well, now I have 8 bags of frozen milk that tastes like a$$. It does not smell soapy, however after a sip you have a distinct soapy taste in your mouth...No wonder the girls are refusing bottles now. You cant just have a drop of it to taste the soapy taste, it has to be at LEAST a sip. Apparently their taste buds have developed and they no longer can stand it.

Oh and one more "rarely" (but this ones not so bad) I have more milk then I need. The only reall downside to that one is it is REALLY messy to feed with the milk everywhere and the girls spit up like crazy!
But, I should be asking are there any other "rarelies" I should be aware of?
the only other rarelies i cna think of with bf is thatg rarely baby will be sensitive to something in mom's diet. you probably woulda found that one out the hard way by now though.
Add me to the too much lipase problem! Sucks, but I hear if you scald the milk before freezing it that can keep it from going "soapy". I haven't tried it, but it might be worth a shot.
