So I am STILL dealing with this thrush. I don't have any symptoms anymore other than just a bit of itching/burning while she is nursing, but it doesn't itch or burn any other time. Hayden however still has white patches. They aren't horrible, and the only place they are is on the inside of her upper lip. They go away every day as she gets her oral nystatin 4x a day, but when she doesnt get it at night they are back by morning. We are out of the oral nystatin now and I am debating calling in more or using gentian violet.

And if the answer is gentian violet, what kind do I buy? When I look it up there are different % solutions in different things. Alot have alcohol, is that what I am looking for? Is that safe to give baby?
