Good advise so far!
I can't take Sudafed because it just makes me jittery as all h3ll, and it is bad for your supply. Mucinex works well to help clear out the congestion by thinning the mucous and making it easier to drain, and it has never affected my supply. I've been taking it for years, since way before it became OTC.
I have a chronic sinus condition that leads to sinus infections pretty much any time I get a cold or a good allergy attack. What I do when it gets bad is to alternate Motrin and Tylenol, take 1200mg Mucinex 2x/day (prescription strength dose), cool mist humidifier, and as many hot, steamy showers as my children will let me take

. If you have access to a steam sauna that is the BEST, but I don't so a hot shower it is

I know how miserable those things are and I hope you get over it soon, mama!
