should you have any type of CM while bfing? This is my third baby, a girl. I didn't not have an AF while bfing the boys and didn't even pay attention to my CM. But I just noticed that I was "wet" down there and was totally freak out that I saw what looked like fertial CM forming.
Dh has been out of town and wants to dtd, I'm not sure what to say if I should say anything.
I do want one more and am going to be 40 next yr. so time isn't on my side but then again Bella is only 7wks. old.
if you're exclsuively bfie no artificial nipples of any type (no bottles, no pacifier etc), and baby is still nursing frequently esp. through the night, it is pretty unlikely (not completely impossible though) that you are fertile already again at only 7 wks pp.
bf is *usually* good birth control for about the first 6 months, because after then, the kiddo tends to start sleeping a little longer, or is supplemented with some solid foods etc.
as for time not being on youir side, lol. i am in my early thirties, and i have a sister that is 11 (her birthday is today as a matter of fact). my mom was in her 20s when she had me, i'll let you do the math :giggle
are you fmailiar with the book "taking charge of your fertility" ? iirc, it has info on bf and moniitoring cm.
thanks for the post. I'm following the bfing the way you should for birth control. I'm a SAHM so I pretty much bf on demand and she goes about 3-5 hrs. at night so I think I'm safe. I'm also taking the mini pill.
Ladies, what do you think of this...kinda of still freaking out re: cm while bfing....
so last week I noticed what looked like fertial cm forming. I'm only bfing so I tried not to think too much of it.
Well, this week the I had a one time brownish/pink....very strange. Because the last time I saw this kind of cm I was PG!!!! it was the implantation cm.
OMG, starting to freak out again.
Or maybe I'm having a totally different cycle then while I was bfing the boys and didn't have a ppaf until 1yr. and AF is on her way.
