Hello! I have never posted her before, my name is Jessica. I want to breastfeed when my first is born but I am concerned about the hospital policies. I want skin-to-skin contact and do not want the baby to leave the room until I do. I have not discussed it with my doctor, but a few of my friends that delievered at the same hospital said they would not allow that. Should I just fight with these people or just find another doctor? I love my obgyn, but I refuse to give up these things important to me. How do I approach this situation? What questions should I ask the obgyn when we do discuss it? Thanks for any imput.
