i know we have to have some good ones, babies are so funny! and if you are half asleep through some feedings like i am, you can do some pretty funny things...
riley is just now getting to a really cute funny age so i'm sure i'll have some better ones. one morning he almost left a big hickey on the side of my boob. we were both so tired that he nursed, oh i don't know 3 min. on just a hunk of flesh...lol. then one time we were lazy and he just kept nursing and fussing and nursing and fussing. this went on a while and i looked down adn i didnt' have my flap down and he had been nursing my bra. lazy guy was too tired to really get it across so he just kept trying...
ok maybe mine aren't as funny as they are cute to me...hehe

Nursing your bra...that is funny.

I don't have any great ones but now that Addi is 8 months old she's entirely to busy to stop and eat during the day. She prefers that I get on the floor and play with her and if she happens to need a snack she'll crawl over, pull on my shirt, sit straight up and suck. It looks pretty funny at least.

Oh and she's sucked a hickey on my neck before when I was trying to get myself situated.

I'll have to think about anything really funny...

Hi. I'm new here. I have a daughter, born August 29th. I'm exclusively BFing, and will be for as long as possible. Alyssa's been a good little eater since the day she was born.

For funny stories... don't know how funny it is to anyone else, but this made me laugh: I leaned over to give her a kiss while she was sleeping. My nose was near her mouth, and she smelled me and immediately latched on to the tip of my nose, and sucked away really hard! I removed it before I got a hickey on my nose.

Last night was family night at my older daughter's preschool, and I had to feed the baby as soon as we got there. I drew a crowd of about ten 3 and 4 year olds! One of them asked, "Why does she eat your breast?" LOL.

that's funny jessica. i have a similar story...at dh's family reunion his 10yr old cousin said 'i don't think he likes that' while i was nursing but i just ignored it. then she asked my mil 'why is she making him put his mouth on her boob?' mil explained b/fing to her and she had no idea that people did that. i bet she was freaked not understanding that's how babies eat!

I also have a similar story My husband's 3yr-old nephew came up to me and asked me what I was doing when I was nursing an 8wk old Vivian. I told her she was eating her dinner and he looked me up and down and said "I don't see any food!". So we explained to him that she was getting mommy's milk, and that he did the same thing with his mommy when he was a baby. The look on his face while he was looking for food was hilarious!
