I really want to have another baby soon. We are going to try to get pregnant in the next month or so. My husband is only on shore duty until June of 07 so I really want to have another baby before he goes back out to sea. So my question is can you get pregnant while breastfeeding? If not Is there anything that will help you get pregnant while breastfeeding? I really dont want to stop BF until ds is 1. Any advice?

Yes, you can get pregnant while BFing. I did, my first son had his first birthday and then 3 weeks later I was pregnant. There is an entire board here at s/k about TTC while BFing. Those gals have a ton of info.

I agree, I too go pg while bfing. My first was 8 months old when I got pg with #2. Have you gotten your period back yet? That will make it easier for you with charting, but it's still possible whether you have or not.

You have to get your period back. If you have that......you can get pregnant.
