Hi all~I don't post much and my sig is probably out of date, but here's my question: I am breastfeeding my 13 week old and it's going great. My first time breastfeeding. I am back to work but still pumping and all that jazz. I'm so thrilled about making it this far! But I still haven't had a period in those 3 months....is that normal....do you never get a period when breastfeeding?

Mine's 14 weeks, bfing and pumping at work as well and I've yet see af. I think some women don't ever get a period while bfing and some do.

When I bf'd DS#1 I didn't get AF until he was 14 mos. old and he was down to nursing 2x a day.

I tend to get AF shortly after I reduce to 1 feeding at night between baby going to bed at 9 pm and get up for good at 6 or 7 am.

But my older sister goes w/out AF as long as she has a few good feeds through the day.... Lucky girl

Ditto what they said, lol.......if you're lucky you won't get it as long as you're lactating!

I dropped 2 feeds from our day when I went back to work and got mine a couple weeks later
