After 2 1/2 years of breastfeeding it finally happened ... I opened up the front door with my PJ's unbuttoned
Here I was, wearing my zebra-print PJs, quite demure, really, except for the top 4 buttons being unbuttoned The poor Orkin man was so bashful and wouldn't look me in the eye, and it wasn't until I closed the door that I realized the girls were hanging out!
So, anybody else have a funny/embarrassing story?

none here...yet...although when they first arrived and I was feed round the clock I would walk around with nothing but undies and my nursing pillow attached and it would crack Julie up to no end! I did not find it amusing AT ALL! She said I looked like I was caring my own dinner table around with me.
Wonder if the Orkin man thought you were coming on to him...talk about a desperate housewife!

OMG Kara, I love it. I am cracking up right now!!! The most I've done is gone out then returned home to realize my nursing bra was not fastened, but I don't think it's ever been really obvious. Oh and I have had leak thru a few times. Since I so rarely engorge I've never really bothered with pads. Dang, I'm still laughing. My Terminix man would probably have a heart attack if I answered the door like that.

Hee Hee! I am so glad I popped over here today. These stories are great! I really don't think I have anything that could come close to these stories (though I have walked around many times with the bra undone).
One day at NOON *busy busy* I took my daughter, then 3 months old, and the two of us went to a local Chinese buffet. I live in a pretty small town, btw. I got her carrier and my debit card and went inside. The owner looked at me a while before seating me. The waitress asked me what I'd like to drink and I said "Sprite." She just stood there, so I said, ". . . and the buffet. . ." So she finally walked off. I went to the buffet, fixed my plate, came back and I sat down to eat. I look over to smile at my smiling baby and I see why everyone was staring. I had on a tube dress and a black strapless bra - and the entire right F cup was just hanging out there! OMG! I was so embarrassed. But, I'm a Mama now. I stayed and ate my plate before running out! lol
Cara's_Mom! I wonder if they thought you were making a new fashion statement

I wish I had something funny to contribute...after a total of 6.5 years of nursing you'd think...I'm just so bashful that I always make sure the girls are in their holders
Luckily the boob was in there, but my big ole black bra wasn't.
Next time I want Chinese food, I will go somewhere else. Can't show my face - or my bra - there again!
I was feeding DD in my MILs room during Thanksgiving last year, when her husband (DHs stepdad) walked in during feeding. He just stopped. I covered myself in record time, but it was my first and only embarassng moment. I wasn't as embarassed as I thought I would be...maybe since I HAD to breastfeed in front of my Dad when DD was 2 weeks old since I was so awkward and there was just no way I could be decreet. He ended up fine with it. Heck, its my DAD. and I was feeding my baby....its not like I was trying to flash him. LOL
I am so looking forward to breastfeeding my new man come Sept.
I have been on this board before, but my milk went away when DD was 9 mos and I had to switch to formula. Now we are weaning to milk and I am 5 mos along with #2, and I am really excited to try to go longer with my baby boy.
