I know many of you have dealt with this issue before. My daughter is 6 1/2 mos old and teething on and off but no teeth have emerged yet. She has started biting in the last couple of days and I want to make sure to deal with it in an appropriate way AND stop the behavior. Currently I tell her no bite in a calm voice after detaching her. I wait a minute and retry with no change. She has become very distractable and comes off an on a lot these days and now the biting. Do these things go away or how do I need to work on it with her to correct before this becomes a real habit. I know some moms wait 15 minutes or so but is she too young for that? Thanks for any tips.
