Ok, some nipple soreness in the beginning, but them it seemed to stop again. I learned that she needs to get formula as a supplement as she is not gainning enough weight...which to me I thought she was doing good, she was born 7 lbs 9 oz, but 5 days she was 7 lbs even, then at her 2 wks check like 16 days old she was 7lbs 12 oz and he said he wants me to start giving her formula...very discouraging and now after getting the bottle the nipple PAIN has returned and getting worse, mostly in just my right side. My left only for a few seconds with the inital latch...I am getting so discouraged as I don't even want to offer my right breast as it is WAY WAY WAY too painful. I tried calling the LLC and no one, not one person has returned my phone call, or email...to make matters worse. Please any advice???? she is just a little over 3 wks old now.
