ds1 Christopher weaned at approximately age 6 1/2
ds2 still nursing, obviously. No goals about time, just that I want weaning to be HIS decision and not mine.

At your discretion, mods, you might prefer to delete this post and just say that the big kids nursed "past toddlerhood"; I'm an old lady and not sure what is socially acceptable to say here and what would be considered "too controversial".

My kids encourage me to be more open because some mamas don't know anyone else who nursed past 4 or 5 and it helps them worry less to know that we did and that the kids eventually weaned and are now fantastic young people who are very much pro-bf but hardly "weirdos".

no reason to delete at all, i say good job my dd will be 5 next month, and still nurses for your youngest, i'll just put currently nursing with no end in sight, if that's okay with you
