Anyone have trouble losing weight while BF?

I swear I have had four children and have gained weight with each one. My stomach just tells me to eat all day long!

I have gotten serious lately about getting back to my normal weight, but now I am worried about supply issues. I guess it is always about balance.

Yes!! I'm working out and watching what I am eating and I am still not budging the scale. I definately don't want to affect my supply, but I would love to fit into more of my clothes.

YES! YES! YES! I started WW about two months ago and had to stop because my supply was running out. I didn't lose ANY weight while BF my first and this has been a slow go as well. I have, however, lost more weight since stopping WW by being careful, but it is certainly NOT falling off me.

I didn't lose a great deal when we stopped BF last time, either. Some of us just like to hold onto the weight.

I had to make a huge effort and undertaking to lose 30 lbs after stopping BF.

I fortunately have not had that problem...I'm thinking of getting pg again just for the benefits of bfing/weight loss With dd- I was 21 and it wasn't this easy..maybe it's the old age that's helping me along this time?

I also have really struggled to lose the weight this time. With my first dd I was in my regular clothes by 8 weeks and with ds it was by 12 weeks. Now Eli is almost a year and I still can't fit into my clothes!!! I exercise some and eat healthy but I am on some meds for my milk supply and I am hoping when I start to wean off in the next month that the weight will start to come off as well.

I can't lose any weight for love nor money. I lost all my pregnancy weight with each of my kids in the first few weeks. I only ever gained 20 pounds or less with each of them....but then in the 6-12 months AFTER they are born, the pounds just keep leaping ON not off. grrrrrr. I didn't nurse my first 2 and I was hopeful that nursing this time would help, but NOT happening. If I do cut back some, my supply seems to dip and so I don't do that for long. I've resigned myself to being fat til after he weans.

Thanks gals for the replies. I feel better to know I am not alone. I have increased my calorie intake for the week to see what difference it made or not. I am back to leaking at night, so it made a giant difference. I am going to watch my weight loss closely to make sure it is not hurting my little man. I am thinking about eating 1900-2000 calories a day.
