My dd has a nasty habit of biting, and recently broke the skin (Yeah- OUCH!!). I have these tiny teethmarks on my nipple that cannot heal because she keeps on. Given the fact that I am also 8 weeks preggo, I think I may go ahead and start weaning her. She is 10 months old and never had formula. Today, I tried to substitute one feeding for a bottle (bad move... she has NEVER taken a bottle and prefers a straw cup). It went over very badly. I put it in a straw cup and she took a few sips but obviously didn't like it at all.

She is 2 months away from whole milk... but I really am in so much pain I cannot keep feeding her 4-5 times a day. I'm not sure if I can pump due to the location of the bites. OUCH!!!! Any advice on how to move her to formula... or on any other idea I might not be thinking of???
