Update (pg mentioned)

Hello everyone! I keep checking back in to see how everyone is doing, and keep hoping to hear good news from each an every one of you.

I went in last Thursday for prenatal testing. We had a nuchal done and the results came back great, a 1:800 chance of Down's and a 1:10,000 chance of Trisomny 18. So we are opting out of any further testing like a CVS or amino.

We also got to see the baby again and see him/her moving around. We actually got a videotape the u/s reconrding. So naturally my DH had to go out and get a video card for the computer so we could digitize the tape and make a little movie.

We are both really relieved because we didn't get this far last time.

Wonderful news Jilda! I'm so happy to hear that things are going well for you and the baby! The u/s must be such an incredible sight, and like you said a relief! Thanks so much for sharing your update, I hope we continue to hear nothing but good updates from you going forward!

Hi Jilda, glad to hear your good news as well. It's a big stress reliever when these tests come back good. My quad screen had great results too and the nuchal u.s was so cool. We also opted out of the amnio, and the dr. agreed. Now we get to look forward to that glucose, yum, test!!
