Hi...I'm obviously new here...I posted this on the wrong thread the first time .

My name is Holly and dh and I have been ttc for a little over three years. We were married in Dec. of 01 and went off bcp summer of 02. I have PCOS (a mild case). I have amenorrhea and don't ovulate.

I recently went to my gyno and she has given me the OK for Clomid...just waiting on dh. He has to have an SA and is dragging his feet. We have a ski trip planned over the new year and he doesn't want me to be 9 months pg...(men...) Pretty much that means we'll start Clomid in August.

do NOT give up hope, i was diagnosed with PCOS and got a BFP a week later. i too was not ovulating. i wish you the best of luck

I was also diagnosed with PCOS trying to conceive baby #2

I was put on glucophage/metformin & on clomid...and I was being monitored
via ultra sounds to make sure the clomid was producing follicles & to make
sure they were big enough to ovulate.

I got pregnant on cycle #3 with only one follicle.

My baby will be 3 on Sept. 11 & I am still on glucophage/metformin. My
obgyn told me I would have to be on it for life; as long as I want to keep
ovulating....since I was put on this medication I have never skipped a period.
