My husband and I have discussed pursuing an egg donor in order to have a baby. We have looked at Conceiveabilities Egg Donor Agency. Does anyone know of any other good egg donor agencies around the Chicago area?

Although my husband and I have decided to go through with this, my parents and some friends are having trouble accepting our choice. Well, they don't understand how much I want a child. Has anyone gone through a situation where some family and friends disapprove of your choice? I know in the end it doesn't matter what some other people think but it still hurts.

its your body and your and your hubbies choice. you got to do what feels right to you not r=everyone else.

I agree you got to do what you think feels right.it seems like unless people have been through infertility that just do not understand how we feel and the decisions we make.I have know idea about your question but hope you find an answer soon!

My own family seems ok with whatever happens with us as long as we get a baby. As far as my hubby's family, I am a little more skeptical. I can imagine that there would be talk but never to our faces.

We are looking into embryo donation seeing that hubby's swimmers seem to be why we aren't getting preggo. IVF costs sooo much! Embryo donation actually costs less so it is a bit more promising for us.
