Happy Anniversary to me! HCG Trigger tonight. ER Saturday 8am. I only have 5 mature follies and the ART nurse wanted to know if I wanted to cancel the cycle based on cost and results or move forward. We decided to move forward. All it takes is one. E2 is considered low at 700. The nurse told me I was not on an aggressive cycle and to consider this a test as I had never done injectables before. I’m trying to remain positive but it’s hard when I keep seeing others where they are able to retrieve so many eggs. I keep telling myself that if nothing else it will give us answers as to if eggs are bad/fertilizable/etc….so that can’t be a bad thing.

But, I called insurance again to make sure before saying “yes” and now am told that I have coverage with a $25k lifetime max. I don’t know what is true anymore. My book says one thing and the customer service reps say pretty much the same with limitations. They told my doc that I have 1 IVF coverage. Aaaghhh! Insurance is such a pain! L

My newest mantra…..all it takes is one and the 5 I have are perfect quality. I didn’t need that many for this to work…..repeat….repeat….until I believe. J

Don't worry about the number of emby's Kim. My friend had 5 retrieved and only 3 fertilized, they transferred 2 of the 3 back and she did get pg so remember... it's not the quantity, it's the quality. Keep that positive attitude - I am keeping everything crossed for you and trigger on your anniversary has to be a good omen!!

I think the anniversary is a great omen. DON'T listen to the nurse. She told me that I didn't respond well to the GonalF, I had had 1 good follie, at 18 mm on cd#11 and that was THE follie. Take deep breaths, think good thoughts and have a wonderful anniversary!
