Hi gals.... BETA #3 came back 13,329.... awaiting prog. results, should get those sometime today. I'm 5wks2days as of today. I go back sometime next week. My original appointment for next week was Monday, but I need that re-scheduled for later in the week.

Yea, they did an u/s. I didn't get a pic this time and I wasn't able to see the screen on the monitor they way the tech was sitting and all, of course this wasn't at the RE clinic either. She did a lot of clicking though.

When did you see the heartbeat?

um we saw/heard it on july 2 and my lmp was may 7 ovulation may 28...so um....is that 7 weeks?

Tai... that sounds about right. I think the u/s next week will be to look/see a heartbeat.

The nurse called me back this morning to give me my progesterone results (32.something). Anyways, since I didn't get to see this last u/s and I got a pic of the 4wk one, I questioned her if there had been improvement/changes in the 5wk one. So far no fetal pole is showing, but she said it is early yet and that is common to not see one at that stage. I'm trying to stay positive. So, I ended up changing the location of my appointment and I'm driving the 3 hours to Fargo. They have a really good u/s tech and I can see the screen because they have one set up on the wall at the foot of the table. I can see why having u/s this early causes unnecessary worry.

Great beta Tandy! Don't worry too much about the u/s. You really can't see much this early. And I do agree, it does cause unnecessary stress. My doc wouldn't do one until I was 11 weeks for that reason. Good luck at your next u/s! I hope you see a nice strong h/b flickering away!

Michelle... I go back this Friday and I'm going to the RE clinic in Fargo this time, might get in a little shopping. I'm thinking of getting a belly band for the time being. Well see.

This past weekend I had more cramping and some restless nights from the cramping and potty trips. No m/s, but I get the icky feeling from time to time. BBs are still sore, so all in all, it's been mild so far.

As I mentioned briefly in an earlier post about no fetal pole showing and the RE's assistant RE mentioned ectopic to me a few times during our teleconference. Today, the u/s showed not only 1, but 2. However, the 2nd bean appeared to be empty. RE gave me a heads up on spotting and if it gets to be more, then I need to call. As for bean #1, I got to see and hear the heartbeat today. I'll scan in the u/s pic later.
