How is everyone doing? I had a u/s last friday and the baby was doing a lot of moving. Can't believe it's still there...
What CD is everyone on? What has everyone been up to?
Long time no post!

Re: TAB Buddies!
Starry - so glad to hear that you got an ultrasound. How many weeks are you now? Do you have a doppler?
D - what CD are you on?
I had to go to L&D last week because I was spotting. Turns out everything was okay, just the polyp again, but it was a good firedrill for actual delivery time. Turns out I didn't even know where the hospital was and got kind of lost on my way there. Anyway, while I was there, I got an ultrasound to see my little guy and he's not so little. They said he's about two weeks ahead of schedule on size. I'm afraid I'm going to give birth to a ginormous baby!
Today is my glucose tolerance test. I'm hoping I don't have gestational diabetes!!!

Re: TAB Buddies!
i'm glad you got the email katie, you've been awol from the FF thread! i'm on cd23, about 9dpo...i don't know yet so we'll see. if this month is a bust, we will TAB in november and get ready to see a new RE. we move next month too, to Little Rock, Arkansas. i'll have to get set-up with a new RE so we'll see. i've already moved on and started back up my weekly long runs and will train for a half marathon. i will also go back to work. no more putting my life on hold...

Re: TAB Buddies!
I'm about 13 weeks and 5 days. I don't have a doppler but I'm doing ok without one.
Wow Katie how far along are you? Would the baby be ok if he were delivered now? Are you planning the birth and all that?
D- I hope Arkansas treats you well. Do you have an RE picked out from over there yet?
Money has been really tight lately because I've been unemployed a while. It sucks because I sooo want to go out for some Indian food lol

Re: TAB Buddies!
D - good for you for not putting your life on hold! I think that will really help ease your mind. I know for a part of the TTC journey, I just felt like I had become a person that wanted a baby and nothing else and it was driving me NUTS! Good luck with the half marathon. I'm going to miss my usual one this year, but I can handle that.
Starry - glad you're doing okay without a doppler. I still use mine - lame, I know, but I love it. Are you going to find out the gender?
I'm 30 weeks today. He'd probably be fine if he were born now, but I'd rather he cooked a little longer just to make sure there's no complications. I'm so excited to meet him!!!

Re: TAB Buddies!
Katie's right D, putting you life on hold just drives you nuts. It's great that you're running a marathon- I wish I had the stamina for that!
Katie- yeah I stopped worrying about the baby once I got my fist u/s. If something goes wrong I really can't do anything about it. So I refuse to worry lol. We will be finding out the sex but I got about another 6 weeks to go. I can't believe you're 30 weeks already!

Re: TAB Buddies!
hey ladies, i want to do a HALF marathon (13 miles, not 26 ). either way, i'm moving on. i felt like that stupid freakin' clomid made me gain some weight. i mean it was only 5 pounds, but on my frame it shows . i will NOT take that drug EVER again and i will straight up tell the next RE that. i still have those Bravelle inj's in my fridge UNUSED. they're worth $1000, heck i NEED to use them.
i'm glad you ladies are doing well. i emailed the others so i don't know where they would be.

Re: TAB Buddies!
Yeah where is Cory and Lisa?
D- still, 13 miles is more than what I could do now. I *was* all in shape when I was doing farm work, but since I've been unemployed I've done nothing but sit on my @rse lol. I have become a total wus. Clomid is SOO horrible. And you know what, I still have some! About 3 months worth! And about 50 OPKs and a box of preseed all unused. If anyone wants them let me know. I really hated clomid, I'll never go on it again either. INJs have less side effects, your RE should have put you on it a while ago I think. I hope your next one is much better.

Re: TAB Buddies!
Ok D no prob just let me know. I bought a bunch at once because they were cheap to get them in bulk...used them for a month or two and didn't need to use anymore.

Re: TAB Buddies!
D - sorry you have a chest cold. I have one too and it totally blows. Actually, it is even worse than just a normal cold because pregnant people can't take any of the good drugs. No nyquil for me. Oh, and btw, I've never run a full marathon either - only halfs, but I decided that's good enough for me. I noticed the folks at the end of the races that ran the full distance look lke they're about to die and the ones that ran the half are the ones laughing and drinking beer. I'd MUCH rather be part of the party crowd! Besides, if you add up a couple of halfs, it becomes a whole, right?
Starry - so you're officially in the second trimester - are you totally excited? I started getting REALLY excited and less worried in the second trimester. My biggest worry then was just - when will I show? I hated just looking fat and wanted to look pregnant. Of course, at 30 weeks, there's no doubt about that now.
So, I failed my one hour glucose test by TWO stupid points! Passing was 139 and i got a 141!!! So, I have to take the three hour test now and I'm so annoyed. I have to miss work and sit in a lab for three freakin' hours while they draw blood. I really hope I'm not a gestational diabetic. I've heard the GD diet is very protien-focused and since i don't eat meat, that will be hard for me. Oh well, I can do anything for 9 or 10 weeks.

Re: TAB Buddies!
Katie- yeah I am not so scared anymore. I look kinda fat but I can't wear maternity yet, although all my old pants are now too small. I look ridiculous in my husband's jeans but that's all I got until I get bigger. I've had a few near fainting spells but my doc doesn't seem concerned. He just said take it slow and keep eating.
That sucks that you failed the glucose test. I'm afraid of that test too because type 1 diabetes runs in my family- and being diabetic isn't fun. I don't eat a whole lot of meat either, mostly get my protein from dairy...I'm such a carb addict there's no way I could give them up.
Have you thought about birth control after your baby is born? I don't think I'll ever go back on the stuff myself. I'm a little worried that I'll only be able to have one child anyway.

Re: TAB Buddies!
Birth control isn't something we're even considering. We want more kids and it took us so long to get here that I don't want to wait at all before trying for #2. Of course, if this one is the only one we get, I'll still be grateful. I didn't really think we'd ever get here, so I won't complain about only having one!

Re: TAB Buddies!
hey i reminded the other girls to come over and post so we'll see if they come.
katie, i noticed that you haven't posted on FF...? i guess you're on the preggo boards...also, i laughed about what you said about marathon runners. they DO get sick...vomiting, fainting, cramping, etc...i mean, how is that fun?
i can't believe that i'm the only non-pg one here ...i least i feel comfortable posting here though bc you know what i've been through. hopefully the other girls will come and i won't feel so lonely. well, my breasts don't hurt that much, if not nothing really...?? what's up with that?? i'm on cd28 and my LP is usually 14 days so i guess i should start tomorrow...? i O on cd14, i *think*, based on the triggger shot. either way, i will wait to waay past cd30 bc that's my usual cycle length.
