Default Natural Infertility Remedies...Any Feedback?

Hello everyone,

I am about to begin exploring some natural methods for improving my fertility. Has anyone here tried acupunture, taking herbs, or nutrition therapy (particularly gluten-free diets and raw foods)? I am very interested in hearing about your experiences with these methods. Thank you in advance!

Trish

Hey Trish,

I am about 3-4 months shy of two years... so I guess I'll just go ahead and post this. In the middle of my last cycle I added Uva Ursi (just for water weight) along with Maca, Dong Quai, and Damiana. I O'ed within 2 days of starting those. I normally have about a 40 day cycle, my last one was down to about 30! Ok so that was semi-exciting, but on top of that my monthly migraine (right after AF stops) was far far far better this time. Ok so when AF started I added Vitex and Evening Primrose oil. So far I notice that I've had a lot of almost crampy feelings in the pelvic area, otherwise more cm and a little more interested in dtd....

Anyways, that's what I've got so far.... I've heard quite a few good things about all those herbs, so I figured I'd give them a shot!

Hi Trish,

I'm very interested in this topic as well. So if you learn anything new in your search and you care to share, I would love to hear about it. I will be happy to share what I learn, too.

Take care,

Helen

Hi Ladies,

Trish I have been married since 2003 and I am still TTC number one. My DH and I have been tested and we are fine so it is unexplained infertility. The options that the fertility doctor recommended was IUI or IVF.
I really wasn't ready to this yet so I went to a herbalist. I have been taking the formula since March this year. The company has had very good result with achieving pregnancy, however I am still TTC number one. I must admit the formula is amazing, any issues that I have had ie: bloating, ovulation pain, short LF, extreme breast soreness etc the herbs have managed to fix.
I hope you get a BFP soon!!

Hey Trish and Ladies,
I am currently doing a diet "detox" with my acupuncturist and a nutritionist. It's a gluten free, non-chemical (no preservative) diet, its to clean the liver out and "detox". I have also been doing acupuncture. Not sure if it works. I am doing IVF though, so it may be different than you situation. My DH is taking herbs for a mild MF issue, but havent had an analysis to tell whether its helped or not.
Good luck!
Carrie
