IVF #2 - Quick Update

Signed consents Monday - We are definitely putting 3 back in for a day 3 transfer and assisted hatching. If we go to Day 5 we are only putting 2 back in as they were so perfect the last time. I also got the plan this afternoon. Last BCP on the 2nd, baseline on the 5th with first micro-dose Lupron that same evening if all is well. Start stimming on the 7th....Gonal F 225iu in the morning with the mirco-dose and 150iu in the evening with 1 Repronex and another dose of 5mg micro-dose Lupron. They are definitely trying to improve the numbers from the start this go round as I was so a poor responder last time (4 follies total). ER/ET week ending Nov 20. We shall see!

I can't believe how fast it all starts happening.

Okay – It’s official!

I had my baseline this morning and all was great. The sonographer said, “My ovaries are the best she has ever seen them. They were clear and she had no difficulties as there were only a couple of very small spots.” All of which is good news because I always seem to have some issue with the right being much larger than the left or something of the like. I start the microdose Lupron tonight and start 225iu Gonal-F Sunday morning with 150iu Gonal-F and 1 Repronex in the Evening. We are on our way…..and for once I’m actually feeling positive.

Oh yeah, a couple of weeks ago one of my good friends told us she had a dream of us having triplet boys (God help me!). Her mom called her yesterday to get in touch with us because she had a vision that we had 2 boys and a girl. I got another email from a friend today hoping for 3 healthy babies. This is getting scary. Twins I could handle but triplets…..geeesh!!!

That is great news. I'm so glad that the base line checked out OK. So, how many shots per day? Can you combine some? Ouch! I hope this IVF is it for you. Sounds like you have everything in your favor...including the visions from your friend. I will hope for 2...
