I am new to this website but I am in desperate need for support from someone who understands. I have been trying to conceive for 2 years and I have been on clomid for 6 months and I have had an HSG last month and I am going in for an EMB on Tuesday March 22nd . This process has been a struggle for both me and my husband of 6 years. I Had a miscarriage 4 years ago and currently do not have any children. I would appreciate anyones support. Thank you

I'm very sorry for your loss

No matter how long ago it was that you experienced this tragedy the heartache and memories will always remain. The only thing I have noticed is that the pain is not as fresh as time goes on.

to our little home. I am happy and sad to see you here as I know that we are all familiar with the struggle that you are going through. I have also been trying to TTC #1 for almost 3 years now and have gone through a number of different things. I have had a laproscopy, D&C, hysteroscopy, and HSG, 3 MC's confirmed and a number of unconfirmed m/c's, 7 months of clomid with IUI, 3 months of injectables with IUI, one month of injectables without IUI and now trying naturally until June. Our next step if we are unsuccessful until then will be IVF.

Please know that you are not alone in your struggle and there is plenty of support available from many wonderful ladies on this board and others here as well. We are here for you and will understand how you feel.

I'm not too familiar with the EMB term but if you tell me I'm probably familiar with it. Keep us posted as I will be sure to say a prayer for you.

Thank you Kim for your warm welcome I too am sorry to hear about your losses. The pain from the m/c is still very much in my heart. An EMB is short for Endometrial Biopsy and it is kinda like an HSG but some differences. I look forward to getting to know all the wonderful women on here. I will also say many prayers for you as well and I appreciate your support and wish you all the good luck in the world. God Bless

Hi and I'm sorry to see you here, but glad to meet you.

I'm sorry for your loss, I've had one and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

on the up side, it seems like you have your hands on an OK doc (they appear to be doing what needs to be done) so keep at it.

We've been ttc for over 3 1/2 years now, they think I have endo, but I am having problems getting treatments and a proper diagnosis.

I wish you all the luck in the world for your TTC journey, I hope it ends shortly.

Sorry for your loss and your struggle to have a child. It's such a difficult and trying experience, one that never gets any easier. We are here for you to vent or scream or just share what you are going through.

I've had an endo biopsy. It's not that bad, I found the HSG to be more painful. The endo biopsy just feels like a pinch and then a cramp and it's over. Good luck!

I'm sorry that you have to go through this. My Dh and I suffered from IF for 3.5 years and only recently got our bfp through IVF. I know how hard it is. You have to stay strong and positive. I know that is so hard to do but you can't give up. Make sure that you go with your gut...if you think something isn't working or is wrong tell the doctors and force the issue. You have to take control. Had I done that a year ago maybe I would have gotten my bfp sooner. I just kept listening to the doctors tell me that nothing was wrong...blah blah blah. I wasted so much time, so take control and be aggressive.

I hope the Endo Biopsy isn't too bad. I didn't have that but I did have the HSG and a SHG...both were OK...not as bad as I built them up to be. I hope it's simple for you and you can get some answers.

Please keep the faith...

Thank you All for your heart felt thoughts and wishes, I am so glad I decided to join here. I'm sorry for all your losses and I am sorry that you are all on this hard journey also. I wish all of you good luck in your journey and I will pray for all of you. Congratulations Andrea on your bfp. I will be glad to get to know you all and I will let you know how the endo goes on Tues. Thank you all for the support and I will be here to support you all.
