Hpt 3 Days In A Row
Hello All
Haven't been here in a while as I've been dealing with alot and still am.
I am confused and hoping to get some reassurance. Monday the 28th,I did
an HPT and it was "faint positive" & then Tuesday I did another one and it
was "faint positive",so I went out to buy another brand to test again this
morning and it again was "faint positive". I'm wondering does this mean that
I am pregnant but it won't last? Last year I had an IVF done and got a positive
and then it was negative a week later,so I'm worried it is going to be like last time,be there & then gone. This year I have been responding better then ever
before. Last cycle I had three follicles that were 21mm & lining was good, but my ovulation wasn't as strong. This cycle my progesterone level for ovulation was 70% higher,it was 82 and I had 5 good follicles ranging from 21 to 25 and lining was looking good. Now in 3 yrs of concieving I have never gotten a faint positive on HPT,always negative.
So what gives with 3 HPT being faint positive for 3 days in a row? My blood test is tomorrow and I 'm nervous,I wonder if I ask they'll do it today, but
don't want to hear them say no either.
Hope to hear from someone and hope all is well with everyone.

Re: Hpt 3 Days In A Row
Well I'm guessing you are waiting til tomorrow for you blood test...sorry no one has been around today.
I don't take HPT's cause after 2.5 years of nothing, I hate seeing a
I hope you get a + blood test and report some good news back to us tomorrow.
One thing I'm wondering is if you did an HCG trigger and if it's possible that it could still be in your system?

Re: Hpt 3 Days In A Row
Hi Kris
Nice to meet you. It's alright,I'm sure everyone is busy & I just wanted some
input. Yes I am waiting until tomorrow to do the blood test. Yes I did take
an HCG injection, but it was low dose, I think 5,000 and its well out of my
system by now. I've had breast tenderness and I've been extrememly tired
after an 8 hour sleep and I've used all the same injections before and they
never made me tired, gonal f, progesterone and etc... I've had cramps
off & on for a week & today I started having pains in my stomach like
someone was jabbing me. I've been laying down most of yesterday and today
cause I'm so darn tired. I mean I could just sleep all day & night. After I eat something, ten minutes later I'm hungry again! I dunno,I hate getting my hopes up,but then again I want to cause I want to happen so badly. Three faint positive HPT'S ,three days in a row?! Even when I've had an HCG shot,I never
got a faint positive,always negative.
We'll see tomorrow!! Thanks for the well wishes, good luck to you.

Re: Hpt 3 Days In A Row
Hi again Kris
Beta results are back. At 14dpIUI it is at 73. Last pregnancy almost a year
ago it was just 11. So this sounds good! I go back tomorrow for another
blood test & the dr is going to give me more medications to take to help
prevent miscarriage. Right now I am looking up things I can take that are
safe, vitamins & herbs for morning sickness & reproductive health,I want to
do my best & not take anything that isn't recommended. I've been thinking
that I helped find out what helps me get pregnant. The only thing I did different this month are take EPO & something to thin out my CM and FLAX OIL,which I
stopped today as it says I should. And before hubby was taking GINGKO & LYSINE AND PHYLLIUM HUSK,stopped him on them and something was
definetly different. First pregnancy was from IVF,which we lost 1 week after
a positive pregnancy.
I should probably start a new thread and get all the advice I can get my hands on
I'm very optimistic!!
Good Luck to you and thanks for responding!

Re: Hpt 3 Days In A Row
Congratulations Nicole!! Wishing you best of luck with this pg. As far as vitamins and herbs...I would be careful and check with your dr first especially early on. You should be taking prenatal with folic acid, but I am sure you are already on those. I did IVF and had to take one baby aspirin every day through first trimester along with progesterone suppositories, but that is it. I just tried to eat well...fruits, veggies, yogurt, milk, etc. Then I got horrific m/s for the 3 months following and it seemed like nothing helped. It seemed like I tried everything...including a prescript frm the dr. Eventually I did find a few things that eased it a bit, one was sucking on peppermint candy and chewing peppermint gum. Crackers didn't work for me, I couldn't stomach them, but animal crackers went down ok. Just try to keep something on your tummy at all times. You will feel worse if you let your body get hungry. Try to eat lots of small meals. You will have to see what kinds of food you can tolerate. Hopefully you won't get terrible m/s. That's my best advice for now. Take care and best wishes.

Re: Hpt 3 Days In A Row
Hello All
Thanks for your responses. I am on Prenatal Vitamins & folic acid. I only want some vitamins/herbs to help with being tired & to ease morning sickness before I get it.
Being tired all the time I already got.I find it difficult to find a comfortable spot to sleep
as I've been up since 2 am this morning & still awake as of 7:18 am "sigh"
Thanks for the well wishes & good luck to all
